What is Teen Leaders?

YMCA Teen Leaders is a nationwide program for teens that teaches leadership skills through community service, volunteerism, and personal growth.

Teen Leaders

Teens 12 & Up

What is it?

A program focused on fellowship, service and leadership that meets weekly to plan volunteer opportunities and fun activities to do together, such as an overnight decorating the Y, helping to walk the dogs at the animal shelter and running the Y Haunted House the going to a haunted hayride.

Where is it?

Wyoming County YMCA

What time?

Weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm with other activities planned throughout the school year

Aquatics Teen Leaders

Teens and Tweens ages 11-16

What is it?

An all things water club that meets weekly and decides the kinds of activities we would like to explore.  Some meetings so far have included exploring scuba diving, water polo, as well as developing life guard skills, combat side stroke and breast stroke.

What time?

Weekly on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm throughout the school year

Youth Sport Night!

FREE to ages 10 & Up!

What is it?

A time for youth to come together and enjoy an evening of praise, worship, and prayer followed by gym games, swimming, Wii, etc.

Where is it?

Wyoming County YMCA

Why?

To promote Christian fellowship of our youth across denominations in the Genesee, Livingston, and Wyoming County regions.
