YMCA rec programs offer convenient locations and a variety of programs — making YMCA summer rec ideal place for fun. Similar to traditional camp experiences like arts & crafts and sports to specialized activities, our rec programs offer something for every kid to discover within themselves. This summer is shaping up to be even more rewarding and fun than ever.
In 2025 we will be running program in Batavia, Oakfield, Perry, Geneseo and York. See locations for specific hours and ages.
Summer Rec Locations
City of Batavia
Location(s): John Kennedy, Williams, Lambert
Age: Completed Kindergarten – Age 14
Hours of Operations: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Oakfield
Location: Oakfield Town Park
Age: Entering Kindergarten – Age 13
Hours of Operations: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Registration opens 5/10/25
Perry
Location: Perry Village Park
Age: Entering Kindergarten – Age 12
Hours of Operations: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Registration opens 4/1/25
Geneseo
Location: Highland Park
Age: Geneseo students in grades 1 – 12
Hours of Operations: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Cost: $15/child per week
New this year: Extended Rec will be offered from 1:00 – 4:00 for an additional $63/child per week.
Non-residents must complete a registration packet and return to Jay Cisco.
Registration Opens 4/7/25
Geneseo Swim
Add swimming to your child’s Geneseo Rec registration! You can choose one or both sessions, with options for both beginner and advanced swimmers in each session.
Session 1: July 8 – July 17
Session 2: July 22 – July 31
York
Location: York Elementary School
Age: Grades 1 – 12
Hours: Mon – Thur 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & Fridays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
