Playgroup
Playgroup is designed to help children develop social and emotional skills while in a classroom setting. Led by our loving and nurturing teachers, this class offers opportunity for children to make the transition into the classroom environment for the first time. Songs, stories, fingerplays, arts and crafts, and gym are all part of this fun experience for two year olds. Children do not need to be potty trained for Playgroup.
- Registration is done at the Y.
- Class begins the week of 9/9/24.
- Children must be 2 by 12/1/24.
Universal Pre-K (UPK)
Please contact them directly for registration information. We currently assist with UPK programming in Pembroke, York, and Batavia School Districts.
- Registration for UPK is done through your school’s district office.
- UPK is for children turning 4 years old on or before 12/1/24.
Three Year Old Nursery School
Nursery School is geared towards providing children with social development in a structured environment that offers exposure to literature and a variety of activities that are age appropriate. There is a focus on learning through play and discovery with the implementation of a theme-based curriculum. The class meets twice weekly for 2 ¼ hours and class time includes swimming once a week. Monthly draft for payment is available for this class.
- Registration is done at the Y.
- Begins in September.
- Children must be 3 by 12/1/24.
- Children must be potty trained or able to use potty with pull-ups at the start of the school year.
